Not everyone is blessed with the art of sarcasm. Some are born with it, like the scornful cat above. See how his gaze speaks a thousand words. To write with sarcasm you need to have the nerve to insult without insulting and offend without getting offended yourself. Sarcasm done right conveys the message like none other but done wrong can seem like a huge mistake to begin with.
Remember, the age old saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away"? Well, here's our version - "A sarcastic line keeps idiots away". Those who understand and appreciate sarcasm will appreciate the effort your put in and those who get offended by your words, well good riddance! Why should you refrain from speaking your mind just because someone might take offence? I am not recommending sarcasm as a means to communication at all times but simply suggesting that sarcasm is necessary in several situations. Besides, it isn't always used with an intent to hurt someone's emotions neither is it always used to make light of a situation. Sometimes you simply do it out of pure vengeance.
